Inside the Uprising Complex Pain Academy: A Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the Program
We live in an age with more access to information than ever before — but for people with persistent pain, all that information hasn't created more clarity. It's created more confusion.
One day you're told to fix your posture and your fascia. The next day it's not your fascia, it's your nervous system. Then it's your gut. Then your mindset. Every answer sounds convincing, and before long you're overwhelmed, second-guessing yourself, and wondering: who — or what — can I actually trust?
Here's the truth: you don't need more information. You need structure. Especially with something as complex as persistent pain, you need a way to make sense of everything, understand what's actually relevant to your situation, and know what to do next — without being pulled in ten different directions at once.
That's exactly what I want to show you today. In the video above, I pull back the curtain and give you a full behind-the-scenes tour of the Uprising Complex Pain Academy — so you can see exactly what you'd experience inside, how I guide my clients through the process, and why a structured system is so much more valuable than information alone.

Why This Program Is Different
The Uprising Complex Pain Academy is the only program of its kind, because the focus isn't just on one piece of the puzzle — not just the body, not just your mindset, not just "regulating your nervous system."
It's a comprehensive system that teaches practical, evidence-based tools to reduce pain and restore function by targeting the neurologic signaling system that's driving your symptoms.
Here's the key concept: your pain system can adapt. It changes how well it detects and processes information from your body, which can make everything more sensitive — like the neurologic volume dial for pain gets turned up. And unfortunately, that dial doesn't always follow injury status.
That doesn't mean it's all in your head. It doesn't mean it's mental, emotional, or trauma. We're talking about adaptations in the neurologic wiring — the signaling happening between the body and the mind. This neurologic sensitivity isn't a diagnosis you either have or don't have. It exists on a spectrum. And the same system that turns the volume up can be guided back down.
That's what this program is built to do: directly influence neurologic sensitivity — not just the body or the mind.
What Happens When You First Enroll
When you join, you start with a brief orientation showing you where everything lives, how to access support, and a few tips past clients say made the biggest difference. You're not just handed a login and left to figure it out.
Then you get immediate access to your modules — everything in one place. And the first thing most people feel is relief. Because for the first time, there's a path. You don't have to figure out where to start.
14 Modules. 5 Phases. One Clear Path.
You'll be guided through 14 on-demand modules that walk you through my 5-phase protocol. You're not dumped into a portal with fifty videos and no idea where to begin — every module builds on the one before it, because sequence matters.
There's over 11 hours of instruction, which may sound like a lot — but one module per week averages out to about 48 minutes. That's less than one Netflix episode. And there are no long lectures:
- Each module is broken into short lessons of 15 minutes or less — because brain fog is real, and some days your concentration just isn't there
- You can rewatch every lesson as many times as you want
- Every lesson comes with a written transcript you can read along with
- Handouts and reflection questions help you apply each concept to your specific situation
Each module gives you a bit of the science plus at least one practical step to introduce each week. And can we pause to acknowledge how important the science is? Knowledge is power. When you finally understand what's happening neurologically, everything starts to click. The fear and uncertainty lift. The self-blame stops. The constant "what's wrong with me?" questioning — which eats up so much mental bandwidth — finally quiets down. That clarity is freeing.
A Look at the Journey, Phase by Phase
The foundation (early modules). We start by building the base that supports your recovery: sleep, simple breathing techniques, and — for most people, for the first time ever — an actual plan to prevent pain flares and manage them when they happen. Instead of bracing for the next flare and panicking when it starts, you turn to your plan. Flares get shorter, less intense, and less frequent.
Pacing: "Push to it, not through it" (Module 5). If finding your limits feels impossible — if your pain seems unpredictable and random, and you've never been able to figure out your triggers — this module is for you. You'll learn how to find your recovery zone, that boundary between doing too much and not enough, and how to stay in it. This is where people have those "holy crap, I just did that and I'm NOT in more pain" moments.
Targeting neurologic sensitivity (Modules 6–10). This is where we systematically introduce the strategies that directly address the sensitivity itself: nerve drills, left-right discrimination, motor imagery, sensory discrimination, and mirror therapy. Each technique is introduced one at a time, intentionally, so your system has space to adapt and optimize before adding the next thing. This phase is where people start seeing noticeable shifts — the volume dial normalizing, the system becoming less reactive.
Rebuilding physical resilience (Module 11). Now that your system is less reactive, we layer in strengthening and stretching — through this new neurologic lens — to rebuild your physical resilience safely.
Making it sustainable (Modules 12–14). Finally, you put everything together into a sustainable routine you can maintain and adapt long-term.
You Don't Have to Do It Alone
The modules are wonderful — but support matters, and there are two paths depending on your situation:
- The Inner Circle (women only): we go through the entire process together, from start to finish. We meet every single week on Zoom for live coaching, and between calls you can message me directly — no waiting for feedback. You'll join a community of women that's genuinely supportive and encouraging. It's nothing like those support groups that become spaces to vent and trade horror stories. Nothing like that.
- The self-guided path: full access to all training modules, with the option to add individual one-on-one coaching sessions with me as needed.
Why I'll Never Hand You a One-Size-Fits-All Protocol
I don't teach this as a generic list of exercises to follow along with. In fact, I believe that prescriptive model actively holds people back — because no one else is in your body, feeling what you're feeling. You are the expert in your own body. Not your doctors, not your therapists, not me.
What I teach you is the principles behind each strategy and the decision-making framework: when and why to use each tool, how to adjust your plan, when to progress and when to hold back, and how to adapt when you hit a setback. The same framework can be personalized to completely different people with completely different cases — which gives you both structure and flexibility. For a problem as complex as persistent pain, you need both.
By the end of the program, you have a complete toolkit and a system you understand deeply enough to adjust on your own as life changes. I'm here if you need help — but I'm hoping you won't need me for the rest of your life. That independence is worth more than any prescribed plan I could hand you.
Is This Program Right for You?
Honesty time: this program isn't for everyone.
It's not for people looking for a quick-fix magic solution, or someone to hand them a simple list of things to do. It's not for people who've decided they already know it all or have tried it all.
But if you've tried hard, you're thoughtful and resourceful, and you know what you need is better understanding — not just more information — plus a structured path to follow? This program could be a game-changer.
That's exactly why I'm careful about who I bring in. Enrollment starts with an application — I personally review your history, and if it's a good fit, I'll send you the link to enroll and the system walks you through the entire onboarding process so you know exactly where to start.
