Meet Dr. Alissa Wolfe
Chronic pain specialist, doctor of physical therapy turned chronic pain coach, and founder of The Chronic Pain Breakup Method.
People in pain deserve to know why they hurt and ways to address the source of their pain.
Our healthcare system is doing a terrible disservice to people with chronic pain. Slapping on a false mental health diagnosis is not care. Neither is blaming the pain on your weight. Or saying you’re not doing enough exercise.
And eventually, when you just don’t want more of the same procedures, pills, and PT, that only cover up the symptoms like a bandaid - you end up hearing “there’s nothing more we can do for you”.
I decided I could no longer be part of a system that treated people with chronic pain as less-than citizens. I decided that something had to change.
Instead of slapping the same wrong treatments on the problem and saying “it’s all in your head” when they don’t work, we ought to be empowering people with knowledge and tools backed by neuroscience.
And that is why I’m here. My aim is to equip & empower people with chronic pain to take a proactive role in their care by exposing the health care systems best kept secret, the neuroscience of pain.PROGRAM INFO >>
"I was doing physical therapy, self stretching, medications, looking up videos, yoga. But you get to the point where you give up. Its very frustrating and you get very discouraged very quickly. With Alissa, I learned quite a lot and I've made a ton of progress. I'm actually doing amazing. Even until now I'm still seeing progress. I've gone from doing maybe two pushups before feeling pain but now I'm actually able to do 25 and I'm fine. I'm a little sore but I'm fine."

I’m on a mission to help people with chronic pain live fearless & fulfilling lives.
"My pain made me feel old and my brain made me feel like I was dying. Alissa helped reduce this toxic cycle for me. Understanding the neuroscience of pain was a game-changer for me and my unique pain cycle. My anxiety surrounding the pain has reduced dramatically because I now have an understanding of how pain works."

When I’m not busy helping others I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for 8 years & have lived in five different states together (California, Kansas, Hawaii, Iowa, & Texas).
Our son, Kooper has brought us so much joy & he’s teaching us patience & to love on a deeper level. He’s also a big fan of our Brittany Spaniel, Riley, who loves playing fetch & performing tricks for treats.
I enjoy line dancing, true crime podcasts, hiking, running, wine or dark beer, cooking, & eating.
My faith as a Christian has always been a big part of my life & what I do. I have been incredibly blessed in life & aim to use those blessings to help improve & encourage the lives of others.
